Being the craft coordinator for MOPS this year has been a lot of fun. We have made some pretty great things but I think this weeks craft was by far the cutest. Thursday was our last class for the year. Our theme this year was Adventures in Motherhood, so each week was a different "ride" at an amusement park. This week we made a stop at the souvenir shop so our class was on ways to preserve memories such as keeping a journal, making scrapbooks, blogging and storing and organizing digital pictures on DVDs in case your computer crashes. For our craft I chose to have us make a mini scrapbook. We made lunchsack scrapbooks and they are so cute, easy and pretty cheap. I am making a "learn my colors" book for Kohen and I am going to make one for Grace to take to her preschool graduation so she can have all her friends sign the pages and we will put their picture next to their name. I think I am going to try making one of these out the paper grocery bags and let Grace decorate it and we will scrapbook all her papers she got from school this year.
I can't wait for September when our new MOPS season kicks off. The theme is "Together on Planet Mom".
