Ginger and I took the kids to Sandy Expo Center on Tuesday to get an up close look at the floats for the Days of '47 Parade. In Utah we don't celebrate our statehood day, we celebrate when the pioneers entered the Salt Lake valley. Every year on the 24th of July there are parades and festivities. We thought a
bout camping out and watching the parade on Thursday but we figured this would be easier and not so hot. The kids had fun getting their faces painted and voting on their favorite float. Of course Grace chose the U of U.

We were there too! I thought that there was a number of cute floats this year...so fun.
