Being a Mom.

So as many of you know I have only recently become a stay at home mom, or as I like to say, a full-time mom. While I was working full time I only felt like a part time mom. I have to say that so far I am really enjoying the time I have at home with Grace and Kohen. Kohen doesn't really do much yet except for cry, eat & poop. Pretty much in that order. He is only 2 1/2 weeks old so I don't really expect much more. Grace and I have had a lot of fun together. She is handling the transition better than I had thought. We have put together every puzzle she owns, at least twice. We have played "Go Fish, Old Maid and Memory" more times than I can count. Grace got "Guess Who" for Christmas and didn't really care for it too much until about a month ago and now we play it at least once a day. Today she told me " I get confusing when I play. I need Daddy to play with me." She loves her daddy. Grace was being such a good girl today that I decided to pull out the finger paints. She had a blast. She played for about an hour. I thank God everyday for the chance he has given me to be a mother. I look at my children and cry. Before Kohen was born I wondered how I could love another child as much as I loved Grace. I didn't think it was possible. It is amazing how much love one person is capable of giving. It makes me realize how much God loves each of us. Even when I am so overwhelmed with Gracie and I don't know if I can take any more, I look at her sweet little face and I melt. I am so blessed to have the worlds best parents. I grew up with so much love and appreciation. I only hope that I can be as great a mom as mine. Thanks Mom, I love you! Well I best be getting Grace in the tub now.

Congrats Sara! I didn't realize you already had your little guy! And what a cute name! I just got put on "bed rest" (which is what my doctors called it to just get me to quit my job and take it easy) oh, darn! But I feel the same way, I LOVE being home with Alex and getting to spend so much time with her, she is so entertaining! I'm going to be taking my blog private soon, and I don't think I have your email address to send you an invite, so when you get a chance check out my blog and leave it in the comment section! Thanks and I'm sure we'll be keeping in touch!

Sara, just a BTW...if you are looking into changing your email, you should really look into gmail. It is awesome. The junk mail has it's own "trash bin" and if you do get anything that seems like spam, you can mark it as spam so it won't ever get in your in-box again. Like I said just a BTW!
